The event is free and family-friendly, and it’s been a staple kickoff to the season for years.

This is the kick off of announcment for Night Out In The Parks summer programming.


You won't want to miss live music, dance and more cultural performances from Night Out in the Parks arts partners.Chicago Park District art and maker stations, resources for children, families, and Chicago residents, ComEd support resources and assistance for customers.

💦 This Event Is A Chicago Tradition


Buckingham Fountain isn’t just another landmark and this is a Chicago tradition.

It’s one of the largest fountains in the world, shooting water 150 feet into the air during its hourly displays.


And once it’s on?

  • Runs daily from 8 AM – 11 PM

  • 20-minute water shows every hour

  • Light + music show at dusk


👉 Translation: this isn’t a one-day event, it’s the start of months of “let’s go do something tonight.”
