For four days every July, a corner of Berwyn transforms into one of the best roots music festivals in America. The 43rd annual American Music Festival returns to historic FitzGerald's Nightclub from July 2–5, 2026, bringing nationally known artists, multiple stages, food, drinks, and thousands of music fans to Roosevelt Road. Single-day tickets are currently available.

Whether you're a longtime FitzGerald's regular or have never stepped foot inside Berwyn's most famous music venue, this is the weekend that shows off everything that makes the club special.
A Berwyn Tradition More Than Four Decades in the Making
The American Music Festival began in the early 1980s and has grown into one of the Midwest's premier celebrations of roots music, Americana, blues, folk, country, soul, rockabilly, jazz, and everything in between.
The festival is now in its 43rd year, drawing artists and fans from across the country.
The festival is held at historic FitzGerald's, one of Chicagoland's most respected live music venues and a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Over the years, its stages have welcomed legends and emerging artists alike, helping cement Berwyn's reputation as one of the region's great music destinations.
