About the Chicago Air & Water Show
First held in 1959, the Chicago Air & Water Show has become one of the largest free air and water exhibitions in the United States, attracting well over a million spectators each year.
For two exciting days, military jet teams, aerobatic pilots, parachute demonstrations, rescue operations, helicopters and civilian performers fill the skies above Lake Michigan with breathtaking displays.
